Anxiety Buster Community Discussion

More info

Yoga mats provided for floor seating unless requested when RSVPing.

Parking available on site

Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend!  This conversation started is intended to provide enough information about anxiety to the lay person, but will also aim to give those with a bit of knowledge already some further ideas and concepts for anxiety management to contemplate and adopt into their lives or their work skills.

Please come to the workshop with questions of your own about anxiety and its role in the lives of so many.

This workshop will not be able to address any diagnoses of anyone in attendance or not.  This is also not a group therapy session.

Everyone is encouraged to provide myself and Courtney ideas for building further programming about the more pervasive and persistent ways that anxiety continues to baffle and undermine us.

We hope that together, we can build informative and ongoing talks around this very pervasive problem.  And we hope that you will help guide us to find what is of most interest to learn in subsequent workshops and gatherings.

Due to the brevity of this discussion, we will not be able to address all questions on site. Some questions will require in depth responses, and may not be addressed during this talk, due to time constraints.  Do not be discouraged.  There will be opportunities to continue the dialogue or to submit questions for further explanation or information.

If you need someone to talk to right away, please call a crisis hotline.  In Washtenaw county, the number is 734-544-3050

If you need help immediately, please call 911 to get help to you.  Or visit your local emergency room.

Mental wellness is our priority.
